Morgan Wallen to Headline Camp Randall’s First Concert in Nearly 30 Years: Ticket Info and More

Morgan Wallen, the country music sensation, will headline the first concert at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Camp Randall Stadium since 1997. The much-anticipated event is set for June 28 as part of Wallen’s “I’m the Problem 2025 Tour,” which was announced on Friday. The concert will feature Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley as opening acts. Wallen also revealed his upcoming fourth album, I’m the Problem, with the title track debuting on the same day.

The Camp Randall show, confirmed by a representative from Madison-based promoter FPC Live, will be a monumental moment for the stadium. The venue, known for hosting Wisconsin Badgers football games, hasn’t seen a major music event in nearly three decades. Its last concerts were in the late 80s and 90s, with legendary acts like U2, The Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd performing.

Wallen, who faced temporary career setbacks in 2021 after a racial slur incident that he publicly apologized for, has since solidified his place as one of the biggest stars in music. His 2023 tour was one of the highest-grossing in North America, and in 2024, he dominated the Billboard charts with two of the year’s top 10 albums, One Thing at a Time and Dangerous: The Double Album. Wallen also earned the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year award last year.

This concert announcement follows the news of Coldplay’s Camp Randall show in July. The British band’s concert on July 19 will mark its first ever in Madison, selling out quickly after being announced. The addition of alcohol sales in Camp Randall’s general seating areas has opened the door for larger events like these, making it easier for such high-profile shows to be hosted.
