Arctic Trucks Unveils the Rugged Widebody Toyota Land Cruiser AT37 on 37-Inch Tires
For those venturing into the world of trucks and SUVs, Arctic Trucks is a name you’ve likely encountered. Famous for creating the bright red Toyota Hi-Lux pickups that starred in Top Gear’s arctic escapades, this brand has become synonymous with extreme off-road adventures. Now, Arctic Trucks has revisited its roots, blending its expertise with Toyota’s legendary Land Cruiser to debut the all-new AT37.
The AT37 earns its name from the massive 37-inch BFGoodrich tires it proudly wears. Available in two configurations—All-Terrain T/A KO3s or Mud-Terrain T/A KM3s—these tires provide exceptional off-road traction. The 37×12.50R17 tires are mounted on satin black Arctic Trucks Heritage wheels made of forged aluminum, featuring dual valve stems. A central inflation system, designed by Arctic Trucks, allows for on-the-go tire pressure adjustments. To ensure compatibility with these upgrades, the Land Cruiser’s speedometer, TPMS, and Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) have been recalibrated.
The Land Cruiser’s chassis, suspension, and body required significant modifications to accommodate these colossal tires. The frame was re-engineered to handle the wider setup, while new suspension components added 1.5 inches of ground clearance and improved wheel travel. At the heart of these upgrades is the R53 Suspension system, complete with monotube dampers, matched springs, and adjustable two-way damping. This system ensures a smoother ride, even in the harshest conditions.
The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser also receives a widebody transformation. Custom fender flares, designed for both aesthetics and functionality, integrate tire pressure guides and connection points for the central inflation system. Complementing these flares are mudguards embossed with the Arctic Trucks logo. Additionally, extruded aluminum side steps with rubberized inserts provide safe entry in slippery conditions.
At the rear, Arctic Trucks incorporated a discreet two-inch receiver hitch that goes beyond towing capabilities. With a range of hitch-mounted accessories available, owners can use it for everything from carrying gear to mounting a portable barbecue. When not in use, the hitch remains almost invisible. Interior enhancements include Arctic Trucks-branded floor mats, unique dash trim, a custom gear shifter, and exclusive sill plates. The exterior, meanwhile, is adorned with Arctic Trucks logos and AT37 badges, adding a distinctive touch.
The 2025 Arctic Trucks Toyota Land Cruiser AT37 is set to arrive in the second quarter of 2025. Customers can purchase complete builds from official Arctic Trucks dealerships or opt for conversion kits to upgrade their existing Land Cruisers. Pricing details remain under wraps, but based on previous models like the Lexus GX460 AT37, the kit alone could exceed $20,000.
